If youre searching for a waitress position, you'll need a resume. Unless of course, you know the manager at the restaurant. A great place to get started crafting your waitress resume is collecting a list of you experiences and skills. Particularly those which are related to customer service. Managers are looking for those who are dependable and "people"people. A quick list of skills required would be: - courteous
- compasionate
- understanding
- follow directions
- patience
- healthy
and so on. Primarily, your role would be to make and keep people happy. This results in positive feedback and return customers for the establishment. The most difficult part of a waitress job would be dealing with unhappy customers. In most cases when things do erupt, it's best to get the manager involved to help sooth the situation. More than likely, they will compensate the irate customer with a complimentary meal, free dessert, or all the money in the cash register. Ok, I'm just kidding on that last one, but you get the point. We started another site at http://waitresszone.com Feel free to stop by and check it out and give us your feedback. min and russ |
